aahana Puja or the Vehicle Puja is a worship to gain Gods’ blessings for a new vehicle. This Puja is done to show gratefulness to the Gods on the possession of the vehicle, so that they bless the new vehicle, shield it from any misfortune or future accidents and also protect us, while we travel in it.
